Thanks Craig - I admit I liked the story too! I felt like I was drawing on lots of relationships - not just my experiences, but also those of friends and family. I like to write things that are positive, not depressing, but also that recognise the real difficulties we experience. Motherhood, like all kinds of deep love, isn't just about flowers and baby photos.
