I love the short story! Very ingenious woman. I also love the view of your garden at the start of spring. Here we are in high summer (some days are actually hot!) but the red tinge appearing on the leaves of my little kojo no mai tree says autumn will soon be here.
The gold never rust and thus it is a symbol of eternal youth and timelessness.
